Environment Analyst set up the UK Early Career Advisory Board to help educate people on career opportunities in the industry and learn how to advance their career path. The board members are early career professionals from our UK Sustainability Delivery Group member companies.

KATHERINE STANFIELD
Senior Sustainability Consultant, Jacobs
She has delivered on a range of projects, integrating sustainability management into buildings and infrastructure across the public sector including defence, highways, and rail sectors. These covered various aspects of sustainability including climate change, waste and materials, and wider sustainability strategy. Her focus has largely been on carbon management including completing whole life carbon assessments and providing wider Scope 1, 2, and 3 carbon recommendations.

AMELIA MILLS
Senior Carbon Consultant, Arcadis
Amelia is a senior carbon consultant specialising in whole life carbon assessments and Lifecycle analysis for infrastructure and the built environment. This includes highlighting and implementing carbon reduction opportunities specific to the sector. She has experience in producing Climate Chapters for Environmental Statements, highlighting the significance of early mitigation, as well as using the Circular Economy metrics for infrastructure

ELLE BARTLEET
Carbon Consultant, SWECO
Ellie specialises in delivering consultancy services in carbon footprinting, science-based target setting and net zero strategising, for organisations within the public and private sector. Prior to Sweco I gained a year’s experience as a graduate Climate Change Consultant at an engineering consultancy. My academic studies in MSc Applied Meteorology and Climatology and BSc Marine Geography allowed me to develop a broad, interdisciplinary understanding in climate change science, policy and environmental sustainability of both terrestrial and marine environments.

GRACE COX
Grace is currently working as an Environmental and Sustainability Consultant with over five years of experience in the consulting sector, covering all stages of the development project lifecycle. She has experience in conducting onsite environmental management audits and contaminated land investigations, including Acid Sulfate Soil (ASS) and Per-and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) assessments, as well as groundwater and surface water monitoring. Grace has also led and coordinated the implementation of sustainability on major infrastructure projects. She is BREEAM Infrastructure Assessor Qualified and has applied Infrastructure Sustainability ratings to design stage projects in Australia. Her professional background spans transport, water, and contaminated land projects, with technical experience in environmental management, infrastructure sustainability, impact assessment, and project management.

DANIELLE ESTERHUIZEN
Graduate Environmental Consultant, Ramboll
Danielle joined Ramboll after completing her Bachelor of Science in Zoology at the University of Exeter. Danielle has assisted on a range of projects delivering consultancy services in terrestrial ecology and Biodiversity Net Gain across the public and private sector.
