Q1: IS A MASTERS OR POSTGRADUATE DEGREE ESSENTIAL FOR THESE ROLES
Question answered in the webinar:

BETH HOLT
Answer:
A postgraduate isn’t needed, you’ll already have a lot of soft skills that are needed for the role.

ZARA
Answer:
Traditionally most of the jobs required a Masters or PhD because back then everything was so technically specialised. More and more we’re seeing that people want to expand beyond applications with Masters or PhDs, and you don’t need to be as technically specialised anymore. There are also lots of opportunities to learn on the job, and people move between departments, so it’s not a prerequisite.

ROSS GRIFFITHS
Answer:
In the ECAB survey we ran, out of 400 applications 220 said they had a Masters degree, 17 had a postgraduate degree, and 115 had an undergraduate degree.
