  • Respondents predict a positive trajectory for organic revenue growth, with global reported averages expected to rise to 6.5% in 2024

  • Profit margins within the industry were 6.2% in 2023, which is below last year’s projections

  • As the "war for talent" intensified, the E&S sector faced increasing pressure throughout 2023, with workforce growth slowing to 2.9% — a significant drop from 7.8% in 2022

  • In line with previous years’ findings, North America outpaced global averages in 2023, with organic growth of 8.5% and profit margins of 9.8%

  • Latin America, which saw one of the weakest growth rates in 2023, is expected to double its growth in 2024

  • The outlook for the sector is optimistic, with a global average 5-year compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 5.9%, more than double the figure reported in the previous survey of 2.6%

  • The Asia Pacific region is expected to lead the sector's long term growth, with a projected 8% 5-year CAGR, outpacing mature markets such as the US and UK
